THE MEMORIAL BUILDING
With the passing of the old Opera House, Traer needed a place to hold large meetings and various social activities, and in 1962 the community had united to finance the construction of the Traer Memorial Building. With strong support of the American Legion, both financial and through the giving of time, the town was provided with a modern, functional, yet decorative building for a community center.
