 City of Traer -
Snow Parking Ordinance:

ALL VEHICLES MUST BE OFF THE STREET - UNTIL STREETS HAVE BEEN CLEARED

The first measurable snow occurred Saturday Nov 15th.
The city snow plows had to work around OVER 50 vehicles illegally parked on Sunday Morning.

Please move your vehicles off the street when it is snowing.

The Tama County Sheriff’s office has been instructed to STRICTLY ENFORCE the ordinance beginning with the next snowfall.  This includes TICKETING AND TOWING illegally parked vehicles.

Residents are responsible for having adequate off-street parking for their vehicles.

The North Tama elementary and secondary libraries are conducting an online fundraiser called Funds4Books.   We are in need of e-books and print books for both libraries.  The site will be open through May 31, 2015. If you wish to restrict your donation to a specific library, you may do so in the comments field.  We appreciate your help in helping move the North Tama libraries from good to great!
